QuickHDR Image Contribution Terms

Last updated: September 17, 2026

These Image Contribution Terms ("Terms") apply when you submit RAW image brackets to QuickHDR through the QuickHDR image contribution program.

By submitting images and accepting these Terms, you agree to the following.

1. Purpose of the Program

The QuickHDR image contribution program allows photographers to contribute RAW HDR brackets to help us develop and improve QuickHDR's editing quality and image-processing technology.

Submitted images may be internally processed, analyzed, tested, evaluated, and used to develop and improve QuickHDR, including current and future image-processing models and technologies used by QuickHDR.

Submitted images will only be used for the development and improvement of QuickHDR.

2. Your Images Remain Yours

You retain ownership of the images you submit.

Submitting images does not transfer ownership or copyright of those images to QuickHDR or Adam Katz.

Instead, by submitting images, you grant Adam Katz, the operator of QuickHDR, a worldwide, royalty-free, permanent, and irrevocable license to store, copy, process, modify, analyze, and use the submitted images for the purpose of developing, testing, evaluating, and improving QuickHDR and its current and future image-processing technology and models.

This permission continues indefinitely once the images have been submitted and accepted.

3. Your Images Will Not Be Made Public

QuickHDR will not publish, publicly display, sell, license as a dataset, or use your submitted images for advertising, social media, promotional materials, portfolios, or other public-facing purposes.

Your submitted images are provided for internal QuickHDR development and improvement purposes only.

QuickHDR will not sell your submitted images or the submitted image dataset to another company or third party.

4. Rights and Permissions

You may only submit images that you own or that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide to QuickHDR for the purposes described in these Terms.

If submitted images contain identifiable people, private property, personal information, artwork, documents, photographs, or other material belonging to another person, you are responsible for ensuring that you have any permissions or rights necessary to provide those images for the uses described in these Terms.

By submitting images, you confirm that their submission and QuickHDR's permitted use of them under these Terms does not violate the rights of another person or organization.

5. Storage and Deletion

Accepted images may be stored by QuickHDR indefinitely.

Because submitted images are contributed for ongoing development and improvement of QuickHDR, the license granted under these Terms is permanent and irrevocable.

After images have been submitted and accepted, you cannot require QuickHDR to remove them from its development datasets or stop using them for the purposes described in these Terms.

6. Free QuickHDR Credits

QuickHDR will review submitted brackets before awarding credits.

For the purpose of this program:

3 RAW files forming one accepted HDR bracket = 1 QuickHDR credit.

Credits are awarded only for brackets that QuickHDR determines meet its quality and technical standards.

Submitting images does not automatically guarantee that they will be accepted or that credits will be awarded. QuickHDR may reject images or brackets that are unsuitable, incomplete, duplicated, corrupted, irrelevant, or otherwise do not meet the standards required for the program.

QuickHDR determines which submitted brackets are accepted based on their suitability for improving QuickHDR.

Credits will be added to the contributor's QuickHDR account after the submission has been reviewed and accepted.

7. Credits Are the Only Compensation

Free QuickHDR credits awarded for accepted brackets are the only compensation provided for participating in this program.

Contributors are not entitled to cash payments, royalties, revenue sharing, licensing fees, or other current or future compensation resulting from QuickHDR's use of the submitted images or from products, technology, or improvements developed using them.

QuickHDR credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

8. Review and Rejection

QuickHDR may review all submitted images and decide whether they are suitable for the program.

QuickHDR may reject or delete submitted images that do not meet its requirements without awarding credits for those images.

Acceptance of some brackets does not require QuickHDR to accept other brackets from the same submission.

9. Future Improvements

The permission granted under these Terms is not limited to the version of QuickHDR available at the time of submission.

Accepted images may continue to be used internally to develop and improve future versions of QuickHDR, including future editing systems, image-processing technologies, and models, provided that such use remains for QuickHDR.
